UNTAMED

A Collaboration with Troy Carbungco (Facebook Account) and Maryjo Reyes (Psychedelic Muse)

Who: Stephanie Lagandaon x Troy Carbungco x Maryjo Reyes
When: December, 20, 2012
Where: Taft Avenue, Manila

Yeah, I guess I have that habit of posting late...
Anyway!

This shoot was a pro-bono work I did with some of my friends. Troy is an aspiring model just waiting to be discovered! Maryjo on the other hand had set her sights on becoming a professional photographer! What better way to do a collab with these talented people and have a share in their passion!

Halfway done!

I just love these before and after pictures! You can really tell the difference of what make-up can actually achieve.
Dont you guys think Troy became much more beautiful than she already is?

PICO CONFERENCE Gala Dinner

Such an interesting event! The conference consisted of PICO companies from different parts of the world! From Singapore, China, Korea,  and Dubai just to name a few. They held their annual conference in which had the Philippines be their turn to host. Luckily, Steph (me) was there to the rescue to be the last minute make-up artist! HAHA ok lame

Did some Before/After of my own! Hihi.
I wanted my makeup look to be dramatic but not THAT dramatic that i'd look too overly done. Seeing that my dress was a bold ensemble, I had to use natural colored shadows to tone down my overall look.
The lashes and the red lipstick was really the key in creating "the look"
(Lol sorry it just sounds funny when you say it)

Quick Tip: If you want to re-create this look, use false lashes that are winged out at the ends. This can make your eyes bigger while opening out your face more. && it gives you that flirty effect too ;)

The host for the evening: Ms. Rita from PICO Singapore

Quick re-touch for Ms. Anne Tan! She was running late and so I just completed her look with lining her eyes with black eyeliner to give her this rocker-edgy vibe. Haha! Her hair adds to the overall look and so I decided to play up the drama.

Sometimes, its okay to do things beyond your comfort zone. It's not everyday that you have the opportunity to be overly fabulous and not be judged by it! ;)

(Oh! And sorry for the bad shot.. She was really running late! Haha)

Pictures from the event:

Err another blurred picture.. but I guess a "clearer" shot of Ms. Rita's makeup

Bro and I

I just had to take a picture of my nails!!! Currently loving this deep red shade on me.. Hihi!
I dont know if the Beautician who did my nails is really that pro or is the nail polish really that indestructible!
Ok well, if you can see it, my pointer got chipped a little but then I did so many errands/bookings the whole week, it was bound to get damaged!? ahaha.

Still!! Just the best red nail polish i've ever tried!

Quick advice: Never let your makeup wear you. Makeup should make you look and feel beautiful, not the other way around.

So what do you think of my makeup look?
Would love to hear your thoughts! Message me through email (steph_lagandaon_002@yahoo.com) or comment below!

12 12 12

Weddings everywhere!!!!! The fact that it was 12 12 12, the only last date in the calendar that all of the numbers would be the same, it would be expected that a lot of weddings would take place on this date. Talk about the last lucky date????
So much for my own wedding....

Ms. Petrenne Caimbon hired me to be one of the make-up artists for her brother, Peter Caimbon's wedding.
You may know Mr. Peter as a contestant in XFactor Philippines.

Ms. Yna Calpotura-Manialong's Wedding

I had the opportunity to be the makeup artist for the entourage of a client.
I also did Ms. Yna's makeup in her pre-wedding photoshoot last November. Even though they were strangers to me, it was such a blessing to witness their journey and contribute in my own way for their most special day!

Who: Yna Calpotura x Eric Anthony Manialong
Where: Santa Clara de Montefalco Parish Church
When: December 6, 2012

Sorry for some of the bad quality pictures! Thought it would be more efficient to shoot using my phone. Haha

THE WEDDING:

Maid of Honor:

Sister:

Close Friend:
This was a tricky one. I noticed that she didn't have a crease. So when you wing out the eyeliner,
it would apparently be hidden because her lids would overlap it. I did an inverted crease to make her eyes seem bigger and to add more depth and drama to her eyes.
