Weddings everywhere!!!!! The fact that it was 12 12 12, the only last date in the calendar that all of the numbers would be the same, it would be expected that a lot of weddings would take place on this date. Talk about the last lucky date???? 
So much for my own wedding....

Detdet Suva's 18th

So happy everything turned out well! There's nothing more rewarding than seeing your best friend celebrate her debut and being part of the process in making it all happen. I was honored to be part of her engagement and meant so much to me to be able to be there for her. It wasn't about the money, the exposure, or any tangible thing you could associate my role in this whole endeavor, but it was just about being there for my best friend since grade 4!

Did a pro bono work for this event. It really wasn't about the money, time or effort. 

It was all about just having a good time! Doing the things that you love for the people you love the most. ❤

Company Parties

This was a makeup gig I did last year for a client who had a company party to attend to.

Location: San Miguel Property Center St. Francis St., Ortigas Center Mandaluyong City Metro Manila

This was really such a fulfulling experience for me! It was stepping stone in my career as being a legitimate Make-up Artist.

Actually, there was already another make-up artist there but for other employees. I was hired by Ms. Jaja to be her personal make-up artist. I was quite flattered when some of those who were lined up to my "rival" had chosen me instead! Im not trying to brag or anything but I think it was really an achievement especially that im still on the early stages of my career. The fact that I was such a newbie in pursuing this career, meant so much already to be regarded with a title of a "Make-up Artist"

Expressing My Love for the Art

Review from She's Camera Shy:

Last week my friend Diane (the model above) and I discussed about organizing a photoshoot that would showcase her friend's makeup (Steph) talent. Having been linked to a few photos of her work, I was impressed to find out that she was completely self taught and that she is only in her first year of applying makeup professionally. What I love about Steph is that she does a great job while being mindful of the time, she was able to apply makeup on all three models (herself included) in less than an hour. Clearly quality control is not a problem, expect to see more of her work on my blog.

Heidi Sarol is the author of this review and is also the photographer in all of the pictures below. She exemplifies great passion for photography and through her work, clearly, you can see how much character and delicateness each picture depicts. She shows such fragility of her subjects that let viewers see more than what meets the eye.

Didn't really plan on the look that I would be doing for Natasha. Went with my gut and just do whatever my hands would lead me. 
Heidi requested for it to be dramatic and intense, and so what better way to incorporate that with dark shadows and intense lines.. 

Toned down her look with a light pink lipstick to give emphasis to her eyes. Plus! I just love how her hair can actually stand out on its own
